Automation Technician

SUMMARY:
The individual in this position will be responsible for themechanical and electrical construction of automation equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Integration of electrical and mechanical systems in the construction ofnew automation equipment.
Provide support for automation equipment after installation.
Specify the purchase of material used to construct newequipment and to maintain established automation from a list of approvedsuppliers.
Maintain safety systems.
Maintain equipment to assure maximum productivity or"uptime" including performing mechanical and electrical repairs duringproduction and non-production time. Thismay include breaks or non-scheduled work time.
Perform and document preventative maintenance.
PLC & Robotic programming experience required
To be able to develop new Program Logic Controller (PLC)programs to accomplish the required tasks. (Ladder Logic on multiple brands.)
Knowledge of Pneumatics and controls
Ability to troubleshoot and modify existing equipment. Both mechanical and electrical functions willbe included (24volts and lower).
Good communication skills ? must be able to give good, clearinstructions to others ? as well as working toward a completion Time &Budget.
Knowledge setting up welders and robots productionequipment.
Knowledge and ability to repair equipment and assist repairon robotic/assembly equipment.
Ability to recognize if defective or worn out parts onproduction equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunction and repairwith assistance.
Knowledge of materials being used.
Ability to do minor plant maintenance.
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or GED required
Mechanical and/or Electronic vocational or trade schooleducation preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
